Pick anywhere on the timeline of history and God will be shown to be king. That’s what Psalm 24 says. Go back to the beginning and see what God was: the founder of the cosmos (1-2). Go forward to the end of history and see what God will be (7-10). Where does that leave us living in between those kingly bookends? It means we live like he’s Lord now, treating him as holy in our worship, work, thoughts, admirations, and words (3-6).
